In The Loop…
Hello All,
We know it has been a long time since we have had any updates on here. Honestly, we here at Bossy Bostons have been tossing around the idea of no longer breeding and just enjoying our pack as we are. We are on the fence and have still not completely decided. At that time Pippin just had a little female pup that WILL NOT be available. Pip has now joined the retired community won’t be bred again. That being said, if we do decide to continue to breed in the future, it will probably be quite some time.
I know we have been terrible at responding to inquiries and such, but there has been a reason behind it. You probably will not see a whole lot of activity on this site until our little pup is grown. I hope everyone understands and can be patient with us.
For now, you can watch our everyday life on our Facebook and Instagram!
We hope everyone has a safe and happy 2022!

New Pups Have Arrived!
Hello All,
We hope this Christmas season has found you well. The year has certainly been a roller coaster for sure. We have had a lot of crazy things happen but are optimistic 2021 will be better!
On to the great news…
We have a brand new litter of two male pups. Meet Storm and Vader! if you can’t guess, a very obsessed, two year old, Star Wars fan named them. Mom (Pip) and pups are doing quite well. The pups were VERY large at birth and continue to grow! They were born Tuesday via c-section.
New Pup ***Spoken for***
Hello,
We have received many many many phone calls, e-mails, and messages about pups. We have finally had ONE male pup. We are calling him Snortin’ Norton. He’s a little, chunky, quiet guy. Snortin’ Norton is actually already a week old but we have had a crazy scary week! So, I’m sorry for the delay.
Our week: Last Saturday evening shortly after Snortin’ Norton’s arrival Pippin became severely ill. She was excessively drooling, labored breathing, acting like she was choking if you put even the smallest piece of food in her mouth (even after taking it out), and her eye’s couldn’t focus. Theses symptoms initially were not too severe and the episode lasted about 10 minutes. Pippin slept through the night and then in the morning we tried to see if she would eat. The symptoms again worsened when we did so. We immediately took her to the vet. The vet did several x-rays of her head and spine to make sure she didn’t have some underlying trauma (eye ticking). He gave Pippin some fluids, medications, and sent us on our way. Sunday evening she started coming back around a little. She ate and seemed like she was improving. Sunday night she had an episode again. Monday afternoon she still had no signs of improvement so we took her to the vet again. We waited several hours and waiting for her to get better. NOTHING. We finally made the decision late Monday evening to take her to the Northeast Indiana Vet Emergency Hospital. The waiting was awful. With Covid-19 we weren’t able to be with Pip during her stay. The doctors there assessed her and did a full blood workup. They requested she stay over night for observation. The next afternoon the doctor called us and said Pippin had showed a little improvement. Her eyes were focused and the drooling had stopped. They sent us home with a handful of medications to see how she would do. We still have no real answer as to what caused any of it, only that there must have been some kind of infection due to her white blood cell count being low and a fever. Last night is the first night Pippin has been 100% herself!! We are very thankful for her recovery!
Anyway, back to Snortin’ Norton… His parents are Baylee Bleu and Neo. Unfortunately with Covid-19 things will have to go a little different than normal. We will have to forego the first initial visit that we require prior to picking the pup up. We will have to substitute the visit with a video chat or FaceTime. Parents and their descriptions are all on this site. Also, due to having someone in the house who has a compromised immune system, we may not allow anyone in our home in 7 weeks at the time of pick-up either. We will keep in communication as the time gets closer. Snortin’ Norton will be 8 weeks old ON July 4th!
Introducing… NEO
We decided to use the New Year to make the official announcement for Neo! He’s been with us since October.Little Neo has come a long way to join the Bossy Boston’s! Neo was born in Croatia. At 6 months old he made the 25 hour trip to the United States. He was brought to us by a wonderful nanny who specializes in making special deliveries like Neo. Neo has a super sweet disposition. He’s in training to be a therapy dog. When we brought him home, it was like he’s alway been a Bossy Boston. He gets along perfectly with the whole family.
Puppies!!!!!! (Have found homes)
We have two more pups! Binx had a litter of one male and one female last Sunday morning. She was even able to free whelp with no c-section! We are super proud of her. Oh yes, we are proud of McCallister too. He did a good job in his assistance ;-). Since it is the holiday season, we have decided to call them Clark and Ellen. (Bonus points if you can name the movie!) PS: just a reminder that you MUST call. I will not respond to comments or messages.
Puppies Have Arrived!
Hello!
Pippin had two pups on Friday! One boy and one girl. C-section and everything went great. Pippin and pups are doing incredibly well and thriving. Pip loves them to pieces. We are still trying to come up with their temporary names. We were trying to come with something that is a pair, but so far nothing is really popping out.
**The male is on the blue towel and female is on the green towel.**
**FEMALE IS SPOKEN FOR**
Long Time, No Posts…
Hello!
I wanted to reach out to everyone and let you know that The Bossy Bostons has not been ignoring anyone or gone off grid. I got a new cell phone and did not realize I never set up my email!! Summer has been crazy and so it never occurred to me to actually check since I was not receiving any notifications. Also, our cell service has been spotty to say the least. We have been in contact with our service provider but to no avail. Hopefully things get better from here!
I have gotten a TON of emails for puppies. (of course, what else?) We do NOT have pups at this time. As always, they WILL be posted when available. I don’t know when that will be. I can’t make the magic happen, it’s all up to the girls. 😉
We hope everyone has been enjoying their summer!
Be aware of scam!
Be aware! We were notified of this scam tonight. We are located in Indiana not California. Unless under very specific circumstances, we only take deposits in person at the time of visit. We DO NOT sell on Craigslist!
Puppies
Update:
All pups are spoken for pending visitations and deposits. I’m sorry if I was not able to get back with everyone. We had an overwhelming amount of inquiries and messages. I was post if anything changes for our current pups. Otherwise, stay tuned for photos and videos as these guys grow.
